How to Cut Weight Safely
In sports where weight is an issue athletes will try to lose the weight by "cutting". No you do not literally cut the weight off with a knife, but you do lose the weight. The problem is for many athletes they go about it the wrong way which can lead to dehydration, fainting and sometimes even death because of inadequate nutrition. While most addictions have to do with things we really don't need, food is completely different. For one thing you need food to live if you try to go cold turkey with food you could get sick or even worst. With all that said there is such a thing as over eating and that is not healthy. Ways to control food portions
We all know that the key to weight loss is to burn more calories than you put in your body. The simpler way to say that is to eat less food. Of course you could get a scale and weight your food or look on the labels and add up the calories, but seriously who wants to spend time doing that? What's worst is even after you count the calories and finish eating, you still feel hungry. So how do you control your food portions? (more)

Is it ok to take expired medication?
It has happened to all of us. We reach into our medicine cabinets and grab the pill bottle and open it as quickly as we can. Some time later we notice that the drugs are past the expiration date on the bottle and we wonder "should I throw the rest of them out?" Most of us do not even notice the expiration date on the bottle and we are probably taking expired medication. Is that dangerous? Should we really just throw away medication after it has expired?
